Tab Trade - The Short Version
Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background matters. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That will round things out when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. But be part of your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
